Tonight I watched the 1973 Columbo episode "Lovely But Lethal" on Me-TV. In one scene, a cosmetics company chemist (played by Martin Sheen) was fixing a cocktail for his boss (played by Vera Miles). The closed-captioning was on – and the spoken word "cocktail" was shown as "XXXXtail." I wonder what George Carlin would have said about that.
So when Colombo said, “And another thing......don’t leave the XXXXry,“ did they edit that too?

"I like a serious attitude on the plane, especially on the “flight deck” which is the latest euphemism for “COCKPIT!!!” Can’t imagine why they wouldn’t want to use a lovely word like “COCKPIT” can you? Especially with all those stewardesses going in and out of it all the time!"

Who came up with "Pacific Breeze"? It has a strong coconut smell. There's no "breeze" coming through. Not pacific, or atlantic, or caribbean, or gulf, or mountain. Is there someone actually formulating a scent that's specifically of a pacific breeze?
Oh, and here's a warning on the container
Violation of federal law. That means they can throw you into a federal penitentiary if you wipe your hands with it. Imagine sharing a prison cell with terrorists and murderers and drug lords.

I meant to post this last night. I went to college at an Institute of Technology. The male/female ratio was 10:1. We called the girls "Tech Chicks", and maybe 3 of them were attractive.
Last night on the Jeopardy College tournament, these were the 2 female contestants
They both lost to a guy, but they did well. Not what I would expect of Jeopardy girls.
