I live in California. My state ranks third on the list of states with the rudest people. You can read this article – or not. I don't really care. And if you have any opinions about this article, keep 'em to yourself and don't bother me.

Based on survey data from Clever and YouGov, New York, New Jersey, California, Texas, and Florida are the states Americans most often associate with rude behavior. The ranking is more about reputation, pace, and first impressions than a verdict on actual kindness.

I have a whole fun Instagram story to tell later on but part of it includes how so many dumb broads post shit like this where it's a 2 or 3 short sentence poem with black text on a white background that they think is so deep. Yet in reality it is nothing more than fortune cookie 101 writing.

I like this Christina lady. She has a Dateline style YouTube channel I dig and now that I saw her post this mocking what so many chicks post in all seriousness, I like her even more!

I'm curious. It's been rather quiet where I live and on TV about the nation's upcoming 250th Birthday. During the Bicentennial in 1976, there were parades, coins, Rocky vs Apollo fight, just lots of news and activities on tv. maybe I'm just missing it all

Do any of you use a browser other than Chrome? If so, which one?

I'm sure I'm missing some easy setting that would fix this but for some reason Chrome is running really slow on this comp and when I switch to Edge everything speeds WAYYYYY up.

I use Firefox. There are some sites that only seem to work on Chrome so I use Chrome for them.

Our community band did a spring concert dedicated to the 250th anniversary. And for memorial day, we're doing the semiquincentennial march. Rolls right off the tongue.

Microsoft tries really hard to get you to use Edge and Bing and all their crap. I think once you convince it you're sticking with Chrome, it'll work properly.

Well, I am surprised and confused. You always seemed pro gay rights and individual rights in general, and in support of religious freedom/choice. Also, you are not racist and respect and support people of all backgrounds and ethnicity. And I know you believe in women's equality. Those are all ideas that are considered to be woke, by those who are anti-woke.

My issue with the whole thing is that "woke" has been co-opted by the anti side to imply a derogatory connotation, and define it in false ways. The true definition of woke is simply not being an asshole.

This.

There's Woke = Not being a dick to other people. (AKA the old treat others the way that you want to be treated thing.)
And then there's Militant Woke = People being dicks to each other because they want to feel superior to someone because they are trying to prove a point.
