Hot take:

Is Taylor Swift not that hot or is it just me? Am I missing all the talk about how hot she is? Is it just because I can't stand top 40 music and her fans would annoy me with their constant screaming?

Howard used to do those "butter face" contests where "everything is hot but her face".

Is it her red lipstick up against the ghost-white face? The bangs?

Me: "She's not that hot."
Some part of me: "Yeah, I know there's a bunch of pervy dudes somewhere on the internet who are absolutely fawning over how hot she is because that's the way dudes are online."

If she wasn't a pop megastar, but just had some boring 9-5 office job...she'd be above average, definitely, but she's nowhere near a 9-10 like I've got the voice in the back of my head telling me that some people think she is.
Some famous women, as they age, start going with more "adult" makeup, especially performers who have to be seen by people in the back of an arena. Shania Twain started doing that at some point (still a long time ago).

But makeup aside, Taylor Swift is like the millennials' version of Kelly LeBrock in Weird Science. You couldn't make a more perfect young woman. And if I was 13 when she hit the scene, I'd be quite obsessed. But she's more of a beauty than sexy. She doesn't exude sexiness to me. And of course, I see her more like as a daughter, because of my age.

That makes sense.

At this school, a 0.13gpa was one of the best.

The OlsenTwinsCountdownTimer comes to mind. People were drooling over themselves at the thought of how hot they'd be when they turned 18.

...then, when they finally did, society stopped caring.

These guys on next week or the following?

2 days a week, 2 hour days. And a bunch of bitching. And saying that everything is the 'greatest' like Richard. Or even out current furious leader.

Normally I'd say they'd be back on Monday 1/5.

Since this is a new contract with flexibility, it remains to be seen. 2026 will be sort of a "figure it out as we go along" like how 2006, 2010, 2016 and 2020 were. Once we get to 2027 and 2028, we should be able to use 2026 as a guide.

I say one week in January then come back in April until the end of May. All three months of summer out. Back in September, with a few off weeks and skip the whole of December. And 2 days a week. 2 hour days, with longer ad breaks. And someone will be fired right on the air? Fafa????

If that's the case, there'd better be surprise shows. That's too long for him to go without checking in on Jill and MfB (aka "get some opinions out".)

It'll be interesting, come September, given this is a big election year. People bitch when Howard talks too much politics, but I bet he goes political.

It'll be interesting to hear if he has opinions on the new mayor and/or Andy Cohen:

Listening to 2/24/2003. They just got back from vacation and Howard was at a high-class resort and bumped into KOAB's father. He described the dad as very classy and commented about how well he spoke. He said KOAB's father is like Bill Cosby and KOAB is like Mystikal and Ludacris.

Howard: "I know I'm gonna retire in three years from radio. But I think I would do a year on satellite radio, because I would just like to do a year where I could say whatever I wanted without the bleeps. The friggin' bleeps. I might do a year ... One year straight of the f word. Y'know, just to get to do it."
