I didn't know thee was a HecticArt there.
I signed up as HecticFlicks for a little change of pace.
I'm still at 194 films logged. I need to get into 1984.

Yeah the Hecticart there didn’t have films logged that I was guessing you’d watch, a lot of teen flicks and such.
I mean you never know lol

If I come home and she’s watching something, I don’t ask to change to something better.

At the same time, if I’m watching Raiders of the Lost Ark when she comes home, she doesn’t ask to change channels.

When I'm watching TV. My partner usually joins me and vice versa.

There are certain shows and movies I'm watching. I changed the channel out of curtsey. Even though, sometimes he says, “Why you changed it?” because you’re not into horror flicks.

Thanks, I updated the hyperlink. I thought, I read in another thread that scotch created a account?
I have not. As much as it amazes some people, I still work, and I'm not going to spend my free time during the summer doing this. Perhaps in November.

I don't know how you remember which movies you have seen either.
I don't keep lists, so I'd have to see a list of movies for each year; which might be pretty difficult to do, since one can see a movie when it airs on TV, or on some minor cable channel, years after release. The only thing I'm capable of doing is checking-off movies from a list, such as the ones that Aaron has posted.

That's the only way that I could keep track.
I can browse through a particular year checking off the ones that I've seen while I'm watching something else on TV.
It's not too bad to do, but it's going to take quite some time to get through.

I’ve been building a spreadsheet with all these movies for years. A tab for everything I’ve seen and many other tabs with lists, top 100 this or top 1,000 that or Palme d’Or winners. So getting it into Letterboxd was easy with an import.

My whole life I get hyper-fixated on things. I went through many years where accumulating songs in my digital collection was it, and making playlists. I went through 5 years where fancy cooking was it. Since 2020 it’s been watching movies. No end in sight, I’m enjoying this too much.
