My whole life I get hyper-fixated on things. I went through many years where accumulating songs in my digital collection was it, and making playlists. I went through 5 years where fancy cooking was it. Since 2020 it’s been watching movies. No end in sight, I’m enjoying this too much.
Those are the perfect qualifications to be a member of DRC.

I should, I been averaging a little over 150 films a year.

A few years ago, when I stopped buying movies on Apple TV and these streaming services basically added their whole movie library. There are some films I never heard, wanted to see, seem interesting, always wanted to see, etc. Now I watch way too many films.

Every few years, I like to play around and change up my WolFyre logo. Here are a couple of samples, along with my latest creation. I like the silhouette of the wolf’s head, though the color combination is still a work in progress. I usually go with a Mexican gray wolf species, but this time I’m trying out a timber wolf with a bit of gray wolf mixed in. I thought about separating the fire into feather-like shapes, using the colors of flames almost like a phoenix burning.

I showed it to one person, and they said, “Oh, I like the head of the fox.” I said, “Really? It’s supposed to be a wolf’s head.” I’m still considering angling the head into a howling pose, though adding a few more feathered flames on the right may risk making the design feel too busy.

What are your guys thoughts?

I can see that it is a wolf's head but it is a bit foxy so I can see the mistake. I would just go timber wolf alone. They look fierce.

The top ones are the most wolf-like, but I find the bottom one most visually pleasing, even though it could be a fox, wolf, or coyote. Perhaps a bit of teeth would help.

Thanks for your feedback! I’m thinking of using the timber wolf colors. Since I live in the desert, I’ve usually stuck with the Mexican gray wolf theme. A few years ago, I considered an alternate design one with a fiercer-looking wolf, maybe with glowing eyes, snarling teeth, and some claw marks for added intensity.

Thanks for your feedback! I can definitely picture how the IRBS timber wolf’s fierce look would fit in. Those sharp teeth would definitely add a lot of intensity.

For the area I circled, I could use it as the base for the mouth and then angle the teeth slightly outward, like it’s snarling. That could really make the wolf look more aggressive.

What did the fox say? of this new revised more fierce wolf head with teeth.

I’m still working on parts of the wolf head, adjusting the teeth and adding more fur. The fire feathers won’t change, but the head design is becoming more fierce.

This is what I have finished creating so far. There are still some areas of the fur I want to adjust, along with the teeth, a tounge and possibly the feathers. I’m also considering incorporating a hidden symbol in the wolf’s fur, such as a crescent moon.

This is what I think about when you discuss changing your avatar Wolf.

And I'm the clearly gray one.

It's weird Google images has the exact picture of what happens in my recurring dream.

It's cool. Wolf.

The space between the feathers and the wolf count. "Negative space" is a good compositional tool.
It's a good subtle way to get more stuff into your designs without being too heavy-handed.

I’ve been making a few tweaks here and there, mainly around the ears, eyes, and nose. Now I can’t decide which right ear I like better. Originally, I had a trim on one side, but now I’ve added a trim to both sides. I’m still leaning toward the left one, though I’m starting to like the right as well.

I like the first wolf. The ear that we see from the front has trim on both sides. The other ear is turned away from us and has trim on only one side. That is as it should be.
