Yes "Tonight I Celebrate" is another prime candidate for the B&B for sure!
My only surprise in the never top 40s this week is ZZ Top. Woulda sworn it was bigger. And it's a classic.
I've had some potential choices that were off by more than a year. Here were my candidates for 1984 last July:
Ray Parker Jr "Ghostbusters"
#1 PEAK - #2 THIS WK
John Waite "Missing You"
#1 PEAK - #29 THIS WK
Prince "When Doves Cry"
#1 THIS WK
Cyndi Lauper "Time After Time"
#1 PEAK - #53 THIS WK
Cars "Drive"
#3 PEAK - UNCHARTED THIS WK
Lionel Richie "Hello"
#1 PEAK - #75 THIS WK
Falco "Rock Me Amadeus"
#1 PEAK MAR 86
As you can see, my last one was waaaaay the heck off. Don't know what I was thinking. I'm so glad I went with "Ghostbusters" that week.
