Adventures In Koopland

So things are going pretty well these days. Got the will and stuff finally done and I just got a new job. Throughout the plague I've had 3 sources of income: the dividends and 2 under the table gigs. One of those gigs went away and while I can get by w/o it, it would mean tightening the belt which I'm not looking to do. I applied at a bunch of places and got hired at 3. The one I took was a manager position at Public Storage. It pays equally or more than the others, the benefits kick in really quickly and it seems overall like the chillest of the 3. I got the final confirmation call about an hour ago and I start on Thursday.

I've seen enough CSI and Criminal Minds to know nothing good every happens in public storage.

Apparently that's a real thing. The lady who hired me is in charge of like 20 Public Storages in the area and told me she does auctions from time to time. She doesn't do the silly auctioneer voice though, I asked.
 
The first two days of the new gig have gone well. Today things were already falling into place easier than yesterday. For my position it's 10 days training then up to 6 weeks shadowing another manager. Hopefully I won't need that long before I start managing a branch. The big boss who hired me is a woman like with my last office job. The giant difference is this one is nice. The last one was intimidating and kinda a jerk who only really talked to me to tell me I was doing something wrong. This new one texted me to see how my first day went. So that's a nice change of pace. The manager who I will likely shadow is also training me and I kinda want to do sex stuff with her so I'm going to have to work on figuring out how to make that happen.

You likely want to keep the sex stuff out of the office. When it goes south, it can get messy. You should already know that.
