Adventures In Koopland

Q does not always need a U after it. The 19th letter of the Hebrew alphabet is qoph. In Chinese philosophy, the life force of every person is qi. Qat (also spelled kat or khat) is a flowering plant native to the Horn of Africa and the Arabian Peninsula.

What the heck are you, JHDK, some kind of qeer? :p
As an avid Words With Friends player, I know all those, along with "qaid".

Unlike "thwarted", "bouquet" is a dumb word. It sounds French. French people are dumb. Except the Eiffel Tower and the Statue of Liberty, those things are cool.

Q's are for fancy men. Stupid letter that needs a "u" after it. Go F yourself. That has a "u" after it too.
Q’s are co-dependent consonants.
They should be comfortable enough with themselves that they can be happy as individual letters.

Haha. That was informative and also made me giggle 98, so thanks.

Maybe I am bitch. Scotch's property shots kinda make me hard also I want to have loving tender gay sex with Wolf. So there's that.

And I have a cat. Cat owners are kinda gay.

There are like 5 words in the English language which have a Q with no U. If you wish to play scrabble, you should learn them all.

You left out the manatee thing.

I make a lot of jokes around here but I really do love manatees. They are giant water beasts that do nothing but be nice. You'd have to be a monster not to love them.

I've never seen one in nature but they have 2 at EPCOT and it's always a highlight of my visits. The tenders constantly throw them lettuce and they chow down and it's awesome to watch. Also they were saved from being cut to death by boats so I don't feel bad that they are in a tank. Usually zoo animals make me sad but somehow (like all things) Disney knows how to do it right. One has a mangled tail so that's sad but it lives in Disney World so life (manatee or any other life) can't get better than that.

To be 100% honest I'm going through an unemployment depression thing right now and it may take me a couple days to get out of it and I feel sad all the time. I'll let you know when I'm good.

Right now I just want to sit around being sad and pet Athena while watching Netflix.

Sorry if this makes me look like a chump.

It makes a lot of sense. People really shouldn't feel awesome then they end up being out of work. There are a LOT of people sharing your pain right now.

Good luck with it all.

Thanks Hectic. I really do appreciate that. Very nice words for an Ohioan...Know that's a dumb joke. I really think you're awesome. (For an Ohioan.)

I think I want my new job to be living under a bridge and asking peasants riddles for a nickle before they are permitted to cross. I could probably make like 10 nickles a day.

Or I could stick my finger in a dyke to stop it from exploding and save the nation. (stop it. you all have dirty minds.) It's a thing from a Dutch child's book.

So as you can see I have many options on the table.

This might be naive, but seeing that half the people in the country are in the same boat, won't most people eventually get their jobs back?

With so many businesses losing money because they've been forced to temporarily close, will they be able to afford re-hiring laid-off employees? My guess would be "no."

In theory yes.
As Koop mentioned before, his boss said she'd be up for trying to hire him back if she can. If not, there should be other management jobs coming back around that Koop is now qualified for.

Not sure if it's half the country, 50% unemployment would be so bad we pretty much wouldn't exist anymore. In 1933 it was 25% and that was the freaking depression, but I get your point. I expect to have a job again in a few weeks. But right now I'm still doing my sadness thing.

Don't forget that soo many people got laid off so quickly because businesses were forced to close their doors. Once the doors open again, the cash-flow starts again.

Plus of depression...I dropped my phone and it broke like 2 weeks ago and I haven't gotten a new one yet. It's kinda nice to be disconnected for awhile.
