Drunk Posts Go Here

Day two is in the books and I’m off to start day three in a few.
Really good crowd yesterday. I managed to time the food lines well and didn’t have to wait long for the good stuff. We were busy at the Biergarten but did a good job of keeping the lines short. Had about a half hour of rain around 10:30 that calmed things down a bit, but didn’t kill the evening. Looks like great weather today.
 
Another German festival wrapped up this evening.
It was a good time, but I'm whipped. I worked 6 hours Saturday night, and 5 hours tonight.

All the bars have Germain beer, wine, liquor and whatnot.
Ours has the greatest number of bottle and draft flavors.

I ate too much again today.

That is correct sir.

Ours is called the German American Festival, so we skip out on that technicality.
Plus, the weather is usually warmer and less chance of rain.

They have all of the traditional music. It's an oompah fest for sure. It's the only time I listen to it every year.
 
Nobody's doing anything fun for St. Patty's Day? I'm working, and we're entertaining kids. Plus I have band practice tonight. So my only contribution consists of wearing my green plaid flannel L.L. Bean shirt. Anyone else?
 
I got a kiss and two tator tots from my Sweet. She is wearing green. I'll wear green when I go to the Y this afternoon.
Then I'm watching the NCAA First Four games tonight. I think I'm ready to watch all the games now.
I used all my pistachio creme so I can't make a shake unless I go to McD's or Culvers for one.

We had a Marlies game at Scotiabank Arena and dinner at the Spagetti Factory after.
 
I refuse to wear green on St Patrick's Day till every last Englishman is out of Ireland!

No drinking today. I had picked up the flu over the weekend and have been out of commission for the last few days.
I've lost 7 lbs since Sunday morning. There's probably better ways tp drop a couple of lbs.
 
Kind of a so so St. Patricks for me this year, I was still bummed that the Senior Center had to cancel "My Wild Irish Rose" on Monday.
And when I was listening to Galway Girl on the St. Paddy's Channel, someone wanted to talk to me so I pulled my earplugs off and when I put them back on the song skipped to the next song. Now I'll have to wait another year.
And I didn't get a Shamrock Shake, I was running late working out and then it was time for the basketball games which were really good tonight.
