That could be one expensive piss.

I've been ordering a Tsingtao when I eat-in at a Chinese restaurant, for like my entire adult life. But this may give me pause (like my stream).

It was CRAZY busy at the fest tonight. My bar was in the wooded area in the back, so it wasn't chaotic like this side, but we were really busy all night.
It was German American Festival this weekend! Like other recent years, Friday was for eating & drinking, and Saturday/Sunday for volunteering selling the good German beers.

Great crowds Fri / Sat. Sunday wasn’t too bad, but it was hot & humidso people were drinking a bit less.

Im already looking forward to next year, but I’m exhausted! It was a great time.

How does hotter temperatures decrease the sale of cold beer? Do things work backwards in Toledo?

Blue sky sad? Really? Threads is probably a safer bet if you've got to go alt Twitter.

I don't mind who let's go. Let's go is usually like a sports thing that regular guys take out of sports to use in their daily lives. It's annoying but it's not like that. Annoying.

We've discussed literally a million times and the fact that the definition was changed in the dictionary literally makes me want to kill myself.

I don't really know about of course, that doesn't seem overused to me.... Anecdotally of course hahahaha I'm so happy I remember that now.

And I appreciate you. Is interesting because often when my boss hangs up with me he tells me he appreciates me and I thought it was like him being sweet. But according to you it's like some sort of modern term that fucking idiots use. So now I don't feel as good about him saying it.

I have a few that I say way too often when I'm dictating here that I do not say in real life. It's due to be so casual here at DRC.

I don't know
Kind of

You've all called me out with the use of like but the other two bother me probably more because once you guys call me out on something I kind of want to keep using it to be contrarian. Also, I used kind of in that last sentence and I did not do it on purpose even though I listed it 30 seconds ago. Hahah.

I say those four in my dictated posts to the point where you'll see how many of those posts are edited. It's because I reread myself and edit them.

Threads is Zuckerberg's rival to Twitter. With everything Zuck is doing to kiss an unnamed person's ass, violate privacy, gut diversity etc etc... Well, I'll just repost what my bandmate shared to sum up why I would leave Threads if I were on it. Replace "Facebook" with "Threads".

of course, that doesn't seem overused to me
Using "of course" in the standard way doesn't bug me. But the under 30 crowd seems to say it to every request nowadays instead of "sure" or "no problem" or "my pleasure". Examples:

"Can I have some more water?" "Of course"
"Do you want your milk in a bag" "Yes, please" "Of course"
"Will you be ordering dessert?" "Yes, I'll take the apple pie slice" "Of course"
"I'd like to ship this package to Kalamazoo" "Of course"

it's like some sort of modern term that fucking idiots use
I don't feel like idiots use "I appreciate you" but I started hearing it once in a while, and now I hear it every day. It came from a TV show I've never seen (surprise surprise) named Ted Lasso. It felt weird hearing it the first dozen times but now I'm used to it....and sick of it.

I hear these a lot, but it's not new. I was over-hearing those in the 80s. Especially "Like".

It’s German American Festival weekend again!!!!!

I’m doing my usual eat and drink a lot tonight, and volunteering at the Biergarten tomorrow and Sunday.

I put together the beer menus for he Biergarten again this year.
We have 44 different flavors in bottles and cans, and 13 on draft. To help the rookie servers and customers that don’t know about all of the different flavors, I made a cheat-sheet that sorts them into categories and gives a few highlights. It seems to help a lot, and seems to keep the lines shorter.

The weather is looking fantastic!
