Fast Food Chains To Conquer America

Value-minded consumers are “too often” seeing combination meals that cost more than $10 and that is “shaping value perceptions in a negative way,” Kempczinski admitted earlier this month. “The single biggest driver of what shapes a consumer’s overall perception of McDonald’s value is the menu board,” Kempczinski told analysts on McDonald’s earnings call. “And it’s when they drive up to the restaurant and they see the menu board, that’s what’s shaping the that’s the number one driver.”

And how many brain cells does it take to say that the "Menu Board", which has all the prices on it, is the main indicator of value?

Not sure about Wendy's in the states, but Wendy's in Canada have added some "Wednesday" menu items. One of them is a Raven's Blood Smoothie. It is a vanilla smoothie with black cherry syrup. I love black cherry and they are to die for. I really enjoy them. Assume they are limited time.

We got our first Raising Cane's this spring, but I haven't tried it yet.
We just got a Shake Shack a couple of weeks ago, but I haven't tried that yet either.

Fun fact: the very first Raising Canes was opened near LSU campus while I was a student there.

Love the fries and the toast bread. The chicken itself could use more seasoning, but if you dip it in the sauce it’s very good.

Raising Cane's is alright, and there are quite a few locations near me. I see the drive-thru is usually busy, similar like Chick-fil-A.

Last year they opened a Chick-fil-A in Portsmouth NH, and it was off-the-hook busy for months. I don't like the place, and it seems ridiculous that with all the excellent choices in the area, people insist on waiting in line for a half-hour, just to get fast food.

I won't stand in line for 1/2 hour for any fast food. I also won't ever do a Chick-fil-A for other reasons as well. So 2 strikes on this establishment.

McDonald's hopes to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction via "a suite of AI-powered innovations." I won't be surprised if they rename AI as "McAI." Shares of McDonald's closed today at 308.88, a gain of 4.73 (1.56%).
