Depeche Mode

Genre: new wave, alternative, alt-rock

Discovered: MTV "People Are People", then they faded away. Then someone I worked with got me into that whole album, then they faded again. Then "Personal Jesus" (and all of Violator including b-sides) hooked me in for good.

Other: Their first three albums aren't so good - they sound like Nintendo music, I can see Mario running around to it. Their next nine albums are great (1984-2009). Not into their most recent two albums so much.

HIGH FIVE:

1. Blasphemous Rumours
2. Personal Jesus
3. Enjoy The Silence
4. Walking In My Shoes
5. Dangerous
