There is no way he got 20m consistent. Taylor Swift got 1m in the first 15 minutes of that podcast being released.
Sirius had about 6m in 2006. Do we *really* believe that over 2x that many eventually came to Sirius for Howard following the big FM exodus in 2006?
Saying Howard has 20m subscribers is like saying over 125m people watch The Last Of Us on HBO Max.
1) Howard's contract ends 12/31/2025. It's always been set up to end that way. All this talk about him being fired or out of contract is crap. I don't believe it. He would have to have been fired after the Lars Ulrich interview and that math doesn't add up. The hype stuff started before the interview.
2) The rumor going around is that Walter the cat died and that's why he's not on.

I started the site because of my love for the Howard Stern show. That love has become 'like' over the past few years. I can't say I love the show anymore.
There are a few things I don't enjoy listening to and I find myself getting aggravated far too often. I can't sit and type any more 2 hour long celebrity interviews. I don't want to type the phrase ''Howard answered a knock at the door'' ever again. I want to have the freedom to turn the radio off when I hear an awful Jon Blitt bit.
I'm not at the point where I'm going to stop listening to the show completely. I still appreciate Howard's interviewing skills. There are interviews I'd rather not sit through though. Now I can pick who I want to listen to and who I can turn off. I've forced myself to listen to a few celebrity interviews I wish I could have walked away from.

The Chiefs play tonight in Brazil. Nationally, the game is on YouTube. Due to NFL rules, the NBC affiliate in Kansas City will also have the broadcast.
I'm sure Richard's father is happy he can just tune to "regular NBC" tonight. I can't imagine him having to turn to YouTube via his TV, but maybe he's smarter than I give him credit for.
