Hearing the intro, it sounds a lot like "(Why do you have to be a) Heartbreaker"
It looks like "All the Loving in the World" was the last release from the Heartbreaker album. Both were produced by Gibb-Galuten-Richardson. I guess they were like "Yea....just use that other intro again...". LOL

Wonder if this is up on Spotify yet. I wouldn't know, I don't use Spotify. But I heard it yesterday on my rap playlist.

The only 3 songs I like from this group are on this single. The other two are "Slow Ride" (it rocks) and "Wasted Rock Ranger" (it's funny).

My friend's old room mate picked this one, he was only one week off.

1: BATDANCE - PRINCE

My friend's kid and I picked this one.

I think I like more songs on the 'Won't Make the..' list than I do the actual top 40.
I'm about the same for '89. I like a lot of songs from '89 but it's a very polarizing year because the bads are SO BAD. While the world was listening to Milli Vanilli, Expose, New Kids, Taylor Dayne, Rick Astley and Tiffany, I was listening to Cure, Love & Rockets, Depeche Mode, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Smithereens (and the resurgence of decent hair band music).

31 good for 1983.
No surprises from the bottom 60 for 1983.
Surprised "Holiday Road" didn't do better from the bubbling under for 1983. Great song.

3 good for 1989. Horrible countdown.
Won't make the top 40
#56 John Mellencamp "Jackie Brown"
#79 Call "Let The Day Begin"
1989 surprises. Both songs better than most of the crap in the top 40.

I've got to be missing one or two in the later section. I think there's one before and one after Kris Kross down there. But all I keep getting in my head are Autumn 1982 songs like "Jack & Diane", "Hard To Say I'm Sorry" and "Abracadabra".

EARLIER
Kenny Rogers "Lady"
Dolly Parton "9 to 5"
Blondie "The Tide Is High"
Eddie Rabbit "I Love A Rainy Night"
REO Speedwagon "Keep On Loving You"
Blondie "Rapture"
Hall & Oates "Kiss On My List"
Vangelis "Chariots Of Fire"
Sheena Easton "Morning Train"
Kim Carnes "Bette Davis Eyes"
Stars On 45 "Stars On 45"

Rick Springfield "Jesse's Girl"
Diana/Lionel "Endless Love"

LATER
Christopher Cross "Best That You Can Do"
Hall & Oates "Maneater"
ONJ "Physical"

You definitely have the candidates. All depends on which countdown/week SXM chooses. If they go with the previous week which they usually do, it will be Rick.
